About Me
Graduated from Kilgore College with an Associate Degree in Music in the spring of 1971. Completed music degree at Stephen F. Austin State University. Have worked as a Minister of Music in Baptist churches for almost 40 years. Currently serve as Minister of Music at Highland Terrace Baptist Church in Greenville, TX, where I have been on staff for 15 years. Met Wynema Miller, trombone player, while in the Ranger Band, and we were married in 1972. We have 3 sons, Steve II, Seth, & Spenser. I still play my trumpet a little, using it in worship services at my church. I also play in the orchestra with a group of church music directors called The Singing Men of North Central Texas; this group presents 10 - 12 concerts a years with about 120 men at each presentation. Good hearing from you. Sorry you did not get to come to the homecoming lunch.
Living in Longview, retired. Can't play any more because of Rheumatoid arthritis making it hard to use my fingers fast enough. Glad you are doing well. Take care my friend, and write when you can. So good hearing from you. I think about the old days often.
I remember after the games ar Shakeys and listening to ya'll play in the dorm.can't remember the bassdrum player.
