Kilgore
College will host its annual Ranger Preview Day to give potential
students an opportunity to learn more about the educational
opportunities the college offers.
“We
are excited to have potential students on campus to learn more about
what KC offers,” said Eloise Ashley, Associate Director of Admissions
and Recruitment. “Representatives from various departments will be on
hand to answer any questions potential students may have.”
The
day will begin with registration at 9 a.m. April 4, in Dodson
Auditorium on the KC campus, followed by a welcome/overview and an
academic and activities fair.
“The
fair will consist of booths from each of the college’s departments and
campus organizations,” Ashley said. “Instructors and sponsors will be
on hand to answer any questions participants may have.”
Workshops
will also be presented on financial aid, scholarships, admissions,
testing and residential life. Participants can also take guided campus
tours. Potential students will also learn about on-campus activities
the college offers.
“This
will be a great opportunity for anybody interested in KC to acquire
valuable information about all aspects of the college,” Ashley said.
“We are looking forward to helping anyone out there who is considering
entering college. We want to make the process of entering college as
simple as possible.”
